A Receipe For Personal Brand Success

One of my clients turned me onto Chef Eric's Kitchen here in Los Angeles.  What he did was invite a group of clients to join he and several of his law firm colleagues for a night of cooking and wine tasting under the supervision of Chef Eric himself.

My client...

• Picked the menu before hand (e.g. Italian)
• Decided how much he wanted to spend per person
• Had Chef Eric take care of purchasing all of the ingredients
• Selected good wine to compliment the meal
• Together with his clients and colleagues they cooked the meal and then enjoyed the fruits of their labor over a few nice bottles of wine

Don't know of cooking is your style.  If it is I thought this was a nice, casual way to go deep with some of your best clients and their spouses.

Valentine's Day Was a Great Opportunity

Did you take advantage of Valentine's Day as an opportunity to surprise your clients?

We bought a few dozen boxes of See's Candies ($6.00/box) and we shipped them to all of our clients' female assistants.  We even included those little Valentine's Cards we gave away in grade school. Let me tell you we were a big hit!

Client touches don't always have to be to the client him/herself.   Could be to the office as a whole or a very important gatekeeper.  The key is to keep surprising and delighting them!
