Today at 2:00pm I will be attending the Memorial Service for my friend's son who tragically took his life at just 22. His name is Sylvester Justice. I never met Sylvester but if he was anything like his Dad, Steve, he was a great kid.
You may wonder what this has to do with personal branding. I think a lot. We must never lose perspective about what's important. All the personal branding techniques, strategies and ideas don't mean a thing if you are not happy. To me branding is a game. It should be fun. Your end goal should be personal peace, whatever that means to you.
Please do not put pressure on yourself to be the best. Just work on being your best. That's it. Your best is all that matters.
If you have a second please keep Sylvester in your prayers. Thank you.

Tim-
Great point. Todays young people have so much competition. We must reinforce there is a difference between being the best and being your best. It's crucial to get this thinking through to them.It is a contrast to what our society says.
